Thomas Roth-Berghofer is Technical Director of the EU project NEPOMUK – The Social Semantic Desktop, Senior Researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence DFKI GmbH, and Lecturer at the University of Kaiserslautern. His main research interests are in trustworthy and explainable knowledge-based systems. He co-initiated a workshop series on Modeling and Retrieval of Context and is program co-chair of CONTEXT'07. He recently organized two other conferences (WM 2005 in Kaiserslautern, Germany and ECCBR 2006 in Ölüdeniz/Fethiye, Turkey). Stefan Schulz researches self-organizing aspects for combinatorial information retrieval and creation. His main research interests are peer-based, context-aware systems focusing on sharing and managing knowledge in communities of practice and organizations. He co-initiated the workshop series on Modeling and Retrieval of Context and is involved as Program and Scientific Committee member in current conferences and workshops on context and context-awareness. David B. Leake researches case-based reasoning, explanation, intelligent user interfaces, knowledge capture and management, and introspective reasoning. His work combines AI, cognitive science, and human-centered computing. He was a Program Chair for the Fifth International and Interdisciplinary Conference on Modeling and Using Context (CONTEXT'05) and was Chair of the Seventh International Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces (IUI-03). Daniel Bahls is graduate student at the University of Kaiserslautern and research assistant at DFKI GmbH. He is working on the open source case-based reasoning tool myCBR, for which he is currently designing and implementing an explanation component to provide modeling support for the user. Furthermore he is tutor of Thomas Roth-Berghofer's lectures on CBR.
